Jutta-Cuny Franz Memorial Award 2015

Seit 1987 vergibt die Jutta Cuny-Franz Foundation alle zwei Jahre den Jutta Cuny-Franz Memorial Award. Die Stiftung und der Preis wurden von Dr. Ruth Maria Franz (1910 – 2008) zum Gedenken an ihre Tochter, die Bildhauerin Jutta Cuny (1940 – 1983), die bei einem Unfall ihr Leben verloren hatte, ins Leben gerufen. Der Preis wird an vielversprechende junge Künstler verliehen, die Glas als entscheidende Komponente in ihren Arbeiten verwenden.

Jutta-Cuny Franz Memorial Award 2015

The Jutta Cuny-Franz Foundation has been awarding the Jutta Cuny-Franz Memorial Award every other year since 1987. Dr. Ruth Maria Franz (1910-2008) established a Foundation and the prize to commemorate her daughter, the sculptor Jutta Cuny (1940-1983) who lost her life in an accident. The prize is awarded to Young artists of outstanding promise who use glass as a Major component of their works.
